A branching narrative adventure game, about two people leaving the Caribbean, to start a new life in 1950s Britain.
An illustrated prose based adventure, Windrush Tales is the world’s first video game based on the real world arrival of Caribbean immigrants who were invited into Great Britain to help the country, post-war.
The game deals with the challenges a whole generation faced when they immigrated – hostility, bigotry and lack of opportunities – but also the courage, strength and determination it took to make a new life under those circumstances.
Windrush Tales is still in development and published by 3-Fold Presents. The team currently consists of Chella Ramanan, Corey Brotherson, Naima Ramanan, Claire Morwood and Chase Bethea.
