Been meaning to post this here, especially as a co

Been meaning to post this here, especially as a couple of you were a bit confused by the Insta story 😂 But I knew I had a crazy DM backlog that I wanted to address first, so I'm finally getting to your messages (Facebook will be next when I have a spare 40 mins), sorry for the mad delay.

Anyway, cross-posting this from LinkedIn so it's all out and explained:

To say it's been the weirdest few days in a weird few months would be an... understatement.

On Saturday I was wearing one suit for a family funeral over in the US.

By Tuesday I had to repack and throw on another suit to attend my first BAFTA Game Awards ceremony.

Mid-Tuesday evening I was muttering "No. What? No. That's... what?" when a game I worked on for nearly 3 years got awarded a BAFTA for 'Best Game Beyond Entertainment'.

Late Tuesday evening I was lost for words (and in actual tears when Abu found me and handed me the BAFTA).

Today, I'm still slightly wondering if this is some strange, sick joke someone is playing. I'm still not sure I believe that I'm part of a BAFTA-winning team.

I'm emotional, jet-lagged, tired and still stupidly dehydrated. But also incredibly grateful. And very proud of the entire team - we did this ❤️

Through its ups and downs, working on 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗮: 𝗭𝗔𝗨 remains a massive and significant part of my career, not just for the work and (many) lessons learned, but for the beautiful friends made and doors it opened. A big thanks (and congrats) to that talented team, the BAFTA jury and everyone who supported us.

I probably should get some food, now. Or at least some water. Then check for hidden Truman Show cameras or the Matrix glitching.

Should be easy enough - I have two black cats.

We're BAFTA winners.

First up, an apology.

I owe a lot of you message replies. My DMs are screaming at me and I promise I'll get back to you soon - sorry for the crazy delay.

The reason for the delays are, well, both new and old.

Old in the sense that it's the same as it's ever been - there's lots going on and I'm doing my best to keep up without burning out.

But new in the sense that there is some crazy, genuinely mad stuff happening behind the scenes that I'll be able to talk about soon. One big project that's been keeping me busy over Christmas and the New Year, another is a 'try out' for something I still can't believe I was even asked to be part of, some more PlayStation features...

I'm currently on about 4 hours sleep, sitting on a coach home from Bristol, with an unforgettable experience of being on set for this amazing film still rolling around my head. My first time on a live set, first time working in a film production team, first time as an extra, all working with frankly brilliant and incredibly talented cast and crew.

A humbling, overwhelming and defining couple days.

On my way out this morning, writer-director (and friend, obvs) @yoms told me something about his script that literally brought me to tears, and seeing it executed during my two days on set only made his revelation hit even harder. You'll know what I'm talking about when the film drops and I'll post more in time.

For now, though, I'm exhausted, exhilarated and emotional. And I only did two days out of the shoot, which continues into the week. This team is full of inexhaustible giants.

Very, very grateful to be part of this - massive thanks to all involved but especially @yoms and @laurelle_jones for having me on board and showing me the ropes.

Time for me to get back to the other work. (...And your DMs, I promise.)

And it will change one young man forever.

We're jubilant, scared and proud to present Age of Quorum, a short psychological thriller about the fever-pitch excitement surrounding a young man’s horrific New Year's Eve as the clock anxiously ticks closer to midnight.

To bring this short film to life, we need your help - so we've launched a Kickstarter to raise funds and get it off the ground. Perks include a signed script, credits in the movie and more.

This is my first film credit (and first assistant producer credit), so I'm very excited to see this come together. But we can only do that with you.
