As you might already know, we're creating the worl

As you might already know, we're creating the world's first video game about the experiences of the Windrush Generation (called Windrush Tales).

We're conducting our second online workshop this Sunday (20th August), so if you are, know or are related to British Caribbean elders, you and your families are welcome to participate - just drop an email to Jennifer Allsopp (j.c.allsopp@bham.ac.uk) by tomorrow.

This workshop will focus on us playing a very early version of the game together, and you offering feedback and thoughts, so it'll be a fun session where you'll get to see what we've been working on if you've not had chance to try it at the British Library.

Been a bit behind posting here, so excuse the flurry that’s on its way…

You might have already seen this, but I’m grateful, humbled, proud and extremely happy to see both our milestone adventure videogame Windrush Tales (making its very first publicly playable appearance!) and our transmedia story @steampunkclockworkwatch in The British Library's new Digital Storytelling exhibition.

Both projects mean a massive amount to me, and to see them side by side, rubbing shoulders with giants (a Neil Gaiman project! 80 Days!) in the halls of a valued and important British institution, is still mind-blowing.

Big love and thanks to teammates @nutmeggyal, @naimaramanan, Claire, Chase and Destina on the Windrush Tales side for all the amazing work pulled together to get the game to this stage, and CW creator @yoms and Graham for the fantastic work done for the Clockwork Watch part of the exhibition, as well @jenniegyllblad, @ukstocky @busymatches @edjimenezart and @scannerlicker for all being an invaluable part of Clockwork Watch getting to this point. And not to forget huge thanks to @stella.wisdom, for being instrumental in our presence at The British Library, as well as supporting us on both.

If you’re around London, you can play our prototype demo of Windrush Tales (still finding this wild to even say) and check out the Clockwork Watch stand at The British Library until October.

Despite the regular battle with my social / public speaking anxiety, my talk on games writing seemed to go well - and the super talented @schielbou did a wonderful job of capturing me while I was on stage (with choice quotes: "They [players] will try to break your game" remains a personal favourite)...

So, erm... that's me. I'm on a @bafta reel.

(My face is currently sitting on a grid next to icons and superstars like Jamie Lee Curtis, Regé-Jean Page and Viola Davis. What is this? I don't understand.)

I don't think it's quite yet sunk in that I was on a live BAFTA Masterclass panel last month, because things have been so manic for... well, forever.

But it must have happened because... this is evidence? I think?
