Crafting and guiding content and fiction across many mediums including games, comics and TV, Corey is an established and award-winning storyteller, who has also enjoyed a 12-year career as a content producer for PlayStation Europe, working on hundreds of high profile titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Dreams.

Fiction writing

A published comic book writer with dozens of stories on shop shelves, Corey is the co-creator/writer of tales such as Magic of Myths, Deadlier Than…, A Twilight’s Promise, Fragile, and many other forthcoming projects including several ongoing series’ and full length graphic novels.

He is a contributing writer to the acclaimed Unseen Shadows and Dead Roots universes, and adapting writer/editor of steampunk transmedia series, Clockwork Watch.

Corey also has experience co-writing screenplays, and crafting video game narratives, including the forthcoming Windrush Tales and Silver Rain Games’ currently unannounced IP.

Content Production & Editorial

An M.A. level trained journalist with nearly 20 years of editorial experience, Corey has worked with a variety of world-renown companies, including Yahoo!, Eurogamer Network and Sky Media. He has acted as a content producer for Sony PlayStation Europe, creating editorial and press related materials for over 500 first and third party titles, including AAA video games Blood & Truth, God of War, Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Editing & Creative Consulting

Corey has overseen and consulted on dozens of projects, including Yomi Ayeni’s award-winning, non-colonial steampunk series Clockwork Watch. He is also editor, social media manager and assistant project manager for the award-winning Butterfly Books children’s books range, a series designed to transform how youngsters perceive gender roles in various careers.

He has taught writing mechanics at junior and secondary schools across the UK, and also has performed talks on comic book writing at conventions, and games writing for several organisations, including the British Film Institute (BFI) and the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain (WGGB).
